What's new since v0.3?
- v0.4.3 and v0.4.4
- 32 bits generation;
- Minor bug fixes;
- Now compatible with Chritian Ludlam's URI handler Wimp application
- v0.4.2
- The four components now support the NIH system (NIH is a development from the original interactive help system).
- v0.4.1
- The user can now access the AddressB Web site from within the ProgInfo window defined for every of the four application components; note that I did'nt use the newest ProgInfo toolbox module to implement this facility albeit it provides just what I needed ( ;-) ).
- Now the !AddressI application supports drops of anchor files according to the ANT protocol;
- I forgot to update the !AddressI UK resource file to set the max length of the URL field to 96. Now it is.
- A bug in the !AddressG component application makes the desktop hang as the user copy the address content to the clipboard. Now it is cured.
- Currently the AddressB application suite interfaces itself to the network by using the Acorn URI protocol only. For ANT client tools owners, they can download the URLconv v1.13 written by Iain Truskett. Please note that, as I do not own any ANT client tool, I am unable to test the global solution.
- v0.4
- Use of integrity checkings (in regards to primary keys as well as to foreign keys) has been integrated in every application code; "Preference Setting" windows now offer more options to the user;
- A new application was added to manage resources (designated by an URL) for individuals; this application holds a client interface to the "URI handler protocol" from Acorn;
- Software architecture has been rationalized and factorised a bit, thus decreasing the time to release a new application and preparing the implementation of common methods within a RISC OS module.
